Healthy adults should not take vitamin

Harvard Medical School researchers recently found that healthy adults take a multivitamin preparations the role of disease prevention is not only not achieve fitness, but may be harmful.

The latest edition of "Harvard Men's Health Watch" published an article said that for healthy adults, the use of multiple vitamin preparations "would not serve to prevent the risk of heart disease or cancer of the role."

Some studies even suggest that overdose of certain vitamins may increase the risk of cancer, such as vitamin E are considered to be lung cancer.

Haweiximeng in the study, said: "There is ample evidence that taking multivitamins for healthy adults is ineffective, even harmful. That being the case, why take it?"
